Rebecca Nurse was seventy-one years of age when Ann Jr. cried her as a witch. The main evidence of Rebecca being a witch was she did not answer when questioned the first time of being a witch. This was when Rebecca's good ear was turned away when questioned, so the likelyhood was she did not hear. At her trial Rebecca spoke these words, "I am innocent as the unborn child, but surely, what sin hath God found out in me unrepented of, that He should lay such an affliction on me in my old age." Later after Rebecca's hanging an arrest warrent was issued for the arrest of her sister, Sarah Cloyce.
